Plant Manager

Our client is a busy, growing organization in the CPG processing industry, looking for a Plant Manager from the beverage and / or food production space.

The Plant Manager leads all plant functions including production, maintenance, quality control, warehousing / distribution, and personnel management.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Implement and monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demand and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain strict adherence to product quality standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and food safety regulations.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team including production supervisors, operators, maintenance, and warehouse staff.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout the plant.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a plant or production management role.
  • Prior experience in beverage manufacturing (e.g., soft drinks, juices, dairy, or alcoholic beverages) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Salary 130-150,000 depending on experience.
