Position Summary

As Plant Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Operations. You are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the repair facility and repair operations in accordance with Procor’s standards, the AAR, Transport Canada, and DOT regulations. Also, you will lead a team of dedicated and skilled professionals allocated to several shifts.

Responsibilities And Deliverables

  • Ensuring employees work safely and that Responsible Care Ethics and processes are in place
  • Profit and loss of the shop
  • Working and communicating with key customers
  • Growth and productivity of the shop operation
  • Customer based scheduling
  • Reduction of ‘Out of Service’ time
  • Staffing, training and labour relations
  • 80/20 techniques and quality improvements of the shop
  • Materials Management in accordance with company targets for inventory turns
  • Other related responsibilities as assigned.
