Job description

The Opportunity

Accountable for leading, directing, and mentoring branch employees to achieve the strategic and operational vision set by Wajax. Manages branch operations to meet company targets and support a safe, productive environment.

The Role

  • Communicate with key stakeholders and the ERS Leadership team to adopt optimal service scenarios for profitability;
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings to stay informed about future projects;
  • Implement strategies to minimize service disruptions due to vacations, absences, overtime, or lack of work;
  • Ensure daily loadable and non-loadable hours align with annual budget objectives;
  • Monitor daily financial reports to stay within the budget;
  • Control workshop expenses to meet budget expectations;
  • Prioritize projects for optimal monthly returns;
  • Prepare disciplinary meetings when necessary and refer issues to HRBP;
  • Conduct performance appraisals and salary reviews for staff;
  • Participate in hiring processes with department foremen;
  • Implement programs, strategies, policies, and procedures as prescribed;
  • Manage budgets and financial updates;
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and promote best practices;
  • Oversee staffing plans, mentoring, and employee development;
  • Manage personnel performance, safety, training, and customer service;
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and coworkers to fulfill orders within parts and cost expectations;
  • Work with managers and supervisors to develop effective work plans.

Education: University/College Degree or Diploma with leadership experience

Work Experience: 4-6 years in a leadership role

Knowledge: Budget management, report analysis, target development
