Job Overview

Provide leadership and be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Rocky Mount, NC Plant, including personnel management, productivity, on-time delivery, cost control, budgeting/forecasting, and asset management. Manage and develop a team in a fast-paced environment, focusing on process improvements in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Inventory management. Utilize business practices such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma. Implement company and factory policies and strategies, translating them into business, team, and personnel goals.

A Day In The Life
  • Manage and direct overall manufacturing activities at the Rocky Mount site.
  • Maintain a safe working environment compliant with all local, state, and OSHA requirements.
  • Measure and improve key indicators: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost.
  • Ensure quality systems are established and maintained.
  • Enhance the LEAN culture by maintaining a clean, organized environment through continuous improvement and 5S. Drive waste elimination activities.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts; approve expenditures ensuring efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet productivity and customer requirements.
  • Establish work requirements and ensure production schedules are met.
  • Develop staff and foster a culture dedicated to high quality and customer service.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Technical field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, such as Plant Manager/Director or Operations Manager.
  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Understanding of Operations Metrics and management to these metrics.
  • Ability to influence metrics through planned decision-making.
  • Experience forecasting manufacturing needs and hours to meet objectives.
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and implement change plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and training skills.
  • Results-oriented, disciplined leadership style focused on metrics and outcomes.
