Job summary

Agropur, based in Quebec City, seeks a Maintenance Planner to coordinate scheduled maintenance, work with on-site contractors, and support health, safety, quality, and cost objectives on site.

The role requires a Diploma in a related field and 5–10 years of planning experience, plus CMMS proficiency, French/English fluency, and strong collaboration across teams. ISO/HACCP/SQF compliance is part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience, preferably in a unionized environment.
• Experience in the food industry is an asset.
• Fluent in French; English required for cross-provincial collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Work Execution Management (WEM) program with maintenance teams and other departments.
• Define, develop, and implement maintenance planning and scheduling practices based on priorities and resources.
• Coordinate the work management process from request to closeout with clear cross-functional communication.
• Maintain an active plant-floor presence to gather planning information and ensure proper preparation of activities.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and dashboards; drive continuous improvement through team feedback.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, SQF, and GMP; maintain CMMS data quality and standards.
• Oversee contractor work, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance during on-site activities.
• Support FRACAS with trend analysis and root-cause follow-up; participate in Health & Safety Committee.
• Align practices with corporate standards and contribute to competency development programs.
