Job Description

Work on the design, development, fabrication, modification, assembly, installation, and testing of various mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, electrical apparatus and equipment, software, and chemical & physical processes within an engineering or manufacturing facility. Identify fundamental processes, design test methods and protocols, collect and interpret experimental data, perform systems integration, and conduct final testing to ensure reliable, high-quality product delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Use test results to identify key development areas and necessary engineering tasks to advance these areas.
  2. Set timelines and milestones for assigned projects.
  3. Establish acceptance criteria for equipment and process purchases.
  4. May oversee project creation, timelines, and management of capital and expense budgets.
  5. Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, technicians, and manufacturing personnel to produce the final product.
  6. Handle work of moderate scope and complexity, solving problems effectively.
  7. Exercise discretion and independent judgment within project guidelines, working under broad supervision.
  8. Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with up to 3 years of related experience.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills derived from previous work experience, with the ability to apply proven solutions effectively and deliver outcomes timely and accurately.
  3. Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools; ability to learn specialized software quickly if required.
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and convey general business concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Experience with technical and experimental procedures and methods is required.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $69,800 to $110,200 per year. The actual salary may vary based on location, education, skills, experience, performance, and other factors. Compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance, tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and discounts.
