Qualifications

  • :P.Eng. designation or BC registration eligibility strongly preferred.
  • :Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Building, HVAC, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline.
  • :5-8 years of engineering experience supporting HVAC, ventilation, boiler, steam, utility, or facility infrastructure systems in manufacturing or regulated environments.
  • :Strong knowledge of HVAC, environmental controls, dust collection, boilers, steam systems, utilities, and mechanical infrastructure.
  • :Proven experience leading engineering and capital improvement projects from concept through commissioning and start-up in GMP or other regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead troubleshooting, reliability improvement, and optimization of HVAC, ventilation, dust collection, boiler, steam, and utility systems supporting GMP manufacturing.
  • Drive engineering initiatives that improve safety, compliance, product quality, equipment performance, and energy efficiency.
  • Serve as site technical lead and primary liaison with external engineering consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors.
  • Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, including budgeting, design review, installation coordination, and performance validation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Validation, and other stakeholders to deliver sustainable infrastructure and facility improvements.

Are you an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex utility, infrastructure, and manufacturing systems challenges in a regulated production environment? We're seeking a Plant Engineer with demonstrated experience leading complex engineering initiatives and capital projects involving HVAC, air handling, environmental control, dust collection, steam, boiler, and utility systems. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of successfully assessing, optimizing, and upgrading critical plant systems while delivering measurable improvements in reliability, operational performance, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high-impact engineering initiatives, drive reliability and operational improvements, and play a key role in the future growth of our operations. A P.Eng. designation, or eligibility for registration in British Columbia, is considered an asset.

Job Status: Permanent, Full-time
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible as required)
Work Location: Onsite
Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 per annum

In this role, you will:
