Target Salary Range:
$68,200 (Minimum) - $90,900 (Midpoint) per year (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and market data)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Plan, coordinate, execute, and close projects using Project Management methodologies, communicating progress and impacts across departments and vendors.
  2. Manage on-site contractors for maintenance and calibration activities.
  3. Maintain CMMS records for equipment maintenance and calibration.
  4. Author SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with GEP and GMP standards.
  5. Follow SOPs, cGMP, and GLP regulations, maintaining accurate documentation.
  6. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to facility and equipment management.
  7. Conduct safety inspections and report findings to EHSS.
  8. Support investigations, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
  9. Respond to facility emergencies, ensuring safety of personnel and property.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. BSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably pharma or medical devices.
  3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach.
  4. Knowledge of GAMP, GEP, ISPE guidance, and familiarity with FDA, ISO, EU, and Health Canada regulations, including cGMP, is preferred.
  5. Knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, water, air compressors, boilers) is an asset.
  6. CAD skills (AutoCAD preferred).
  7. Experience in risk assessments, root cause analysis, and hazard analysis.
  8. Knowledge of Quality by Design, Six Sigma methodologies.
  9. Strong attention to safety and detail.
