Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Plant Electrician role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste, provide access for maintenance, and comply with local electrical codes.

  • Prepare sketches or follow diagrams/blueprints to ensure proper installation of concealed wiring.

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.

  • Pull, splice, and connect wiring to fixtures, control systems, and equipment.

  • Install and maintain switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.

  • Test circuits with instruments such as ohmmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure safety and compatibility.

  • Inspect and observe installed equipment to detect hazards and determine necessary adjustments or repairs.

  • Repair or replace faulty electrical systems and components.

  • Perform basic welding and cutting of steel structural members as needed.

  • Initiate purchase orders for required parts and materials.

  • Support plant operations with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrician experience.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Journeyman Electrician License in Washington State .

  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Forklift certification (or willingness to train).

  • Welding experience a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and extreme non-weather heat.

  • Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, outdoor weather, extreme cold, and risk of electrical shock.

  • Noise levels typically moderate to loud.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands/arms.

  • Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100+ lbs.

  • Requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
