A growing and stable manufacturing company with a strong reputation in its industry is seeking a hands-on Controller to join its leadership team at a key production facility in Ontario, CA. This is a high-impact role responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls — ideal for a strategic accounting leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all financial operations, reporting, and audits (internal and external)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and forecasts
• Manage accounting team members while actively participating in daily and month-end close activities
• Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with leadership on business strategy, budgeting, and capital planning
• Analyze cost and production metrics to identify trends and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements
• Provide financial reports to ownership and participate in board-level discussions

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)

5+ years leading a finance or accounting team, preferably in manufacturing

Advanced technical accounting skills — able to complete journal entries, reconciliations, and support staff workloads

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP / accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains a plus)

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

A hands-on, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment
