Planning & Allocation Manager

We’re looking for a Planning & Allocation Lead to oversee inventory flow, forecasting, and planning strategies. This role works closely with merchandising, sales, and finance to optimize stock levels, drive product performance, and maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional Planning & Inventory Management:

● Collaborate with the executive team to drive strategic plans across sales, inventory, and margin KPIs.

● Drive the sales and margin planning process.

● Partner with finance to reconcile financial and merchandise plans at the category and location levels.

● Lead re-forecasting, pricing, promotions, and inventory lifecycle management. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

● Own the company’s inventory position (Open to Buy) across product categories.

● Set the assortment strategy in partnership with merchandising.

• DTC Planning & Allocation:

● Forecast new product launches, analyze market trends, and evaluate past performance.

● Execute markdown and liquidation strategies to maximize profitability.

● Conduct weekly business analysis of sales and stock levels.

● Identify product mix opportunities and drive profitable solutions.

● Create cut orders to the factory and follow up on deliveries.

• Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or a related field.

● 3-4 years of experience in inventory planning or demand forecasting.

● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

● Proficiency in Excel and experience with inventory management practices.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

● Languages known – English, French and/or Spanish.
