Job description

Summary Of The Role

Mammoet is seeking a self-starting individual to join our Operations team at our Fort McKay branch. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with one of the largest Heavy Lift and Heavy Transport companies globally. The role involves planning and executing mobilization and demobilization of personnel and project equipment for major regional projects, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Conduct all business professionally and respectfully.
  2. Support Mammoet, SHE-Q, and Business Policies and Procedures.
  3. Receive, distribute, and process EMD requests.
  4. Use the SAP planning board to plan, locate, reserve, ship, and receive AE.
  5. Check equipment availability via the planning board and with the yard supervisor.
  6. Identify and communicate alternatives if necessary.
  7. Create and send Purchase Orders for rentals, ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
  8. Print, distribute, process, and file EMD requests, requisition notes, loading bills, and (un)loading sheets.
  9. Identify safety hazards when present.
  10. Coordinate with yard supervisor, Data Controller, Project Manager, and Client regarding equipment returns.
  11. Follow up on rental periods, project durations, and equipment returns, adjusting plans as needed.
  12. Create and distribute transport requests for internal equipment transports.
  13. Work with the Data Controller to ensure EMD has current certifications.
  14. Maintain accurate and current SAP planning board data.
What You’ll Need
Education/Experience
  1. At least 2 years of experience in a busy office environment.
  2. High school diploma.
  3. Intermediate computer skills.

  1. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
