Job description

Job Description

EBC is searching for full-time Planners to further meet its needs in a growth context.

For all stages of the projects, the Planner is responsible for planning and deadlines in procurement, building construction, site directives, process equipment, facilities, commissioning and validation.

Responsibilities

  • carry out overall and detailed project planning using MS Project and / or Primavera;
  • identify the project’s critical path;
  • oversee project deadlines and provide them to all teams involved;
  • establish cash flow curves;
  • coordinate planning activities with other team members;
  • ensure compliance with project management guidelines;
  • integrate all pertinent information allowing a detailed follow-up of each step of the project;
  • on a weekly basis or when required, generate progress reports and performance indicators;
  • follow-up on planned versus actual activities;
  • ensure information is shared amongst all concerned (deadlines, critical path, time differentials, data analysis and impact on delivery);
  • detail planning activities in the project’s monthly progress report;
  • attend planning meetings and, if necessary, site meetings.

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or Architecture;
  • extensive knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 software;
  • previous Planner work experience on at least one major project;
  • knowledge of Construction industry;
  • risk management training (an asset);
  • bilingualism (an asset).
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
