What will your day‑to‑day look like?
  • Develop and standardize work instructions, repair sequences, and process flows for overhaul activities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert for complex repair processes, tooling, and shop capability development.
  • Support troubleshooting of technical issues in coordination with MRO engineering, quality, and production teams.
  • Introduce and implement new tools, equipment, and technologies to improve productivity.
  • Manage technical change requests, engineering updates, and shop‑floor implementation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, OEM specifications, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and act as the key liaison between shop‑floor and MRO engineering or program teams.
What do you need to be successful?
  • College degree or higher (two years duration) in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in a development, manufacturing or MRO environment, ideally with aerospace engines or complex mechanical systems.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical assembly processes, including use of standard tools, fasteners, and lubricants.
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
  • On‑site presence five days per week (typical).
Assets Considered
  • Knowledge of CATIA, ENOVIA, ECATES, DNA.
  • Familiar with technical publication requirements, structured documentation, and markup languages such as SGML, XML, HTML.
  • Competency in using drawing and illustration software for 2D technical sketches.
Language Requirements

Although this position is part of a French‑speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
