Qualifications

  • 3+ years of food preparation experience required.
  • 3-5 years of scratch artisan baking experience preferred.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
  2. To produce quality bread and pizza products following standard fabricating and finishing procedures according to production lists;
  3. To be responsible for the full preparation and stocking of the Bread and Pizza department;
  4. To effectively prepare pizzas and breads according to Company standards for food preparation and appearance;
  5. To serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner;
  6. To respond to any customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
  7. To be responsible for the opening and/or closing functions of the department;
  8. To assist the department manager in the training and direction of part-time staff;
  9. To ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the production and back room areas, as per Company Policy;
  10. To maintain the department in the absence of the department manager;
  11. To perform other duties, as required.

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

  1. Exceptional customer service skills
  2. A minimum of three (3) years food preparation experience;
  3. Three to five years’ scratch artisan baking experience, preferably in a retail environment would be considered an asset;
  4. Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evening, nights, and weekends;
  5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  6. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
