Agilus is recruiting for a Piping Designer / Drafter in the Engineering Consultancy industry.

This is a minimum 3-6 month contract to support our client with an increase in incoming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing design problems, preparing design sketches, specifications, and generating complex AutoCAD drawings.
• Coordinating with Project Engineers on design information and standards.
• Providing design specifications and applying discipline-specific design criteria, codes, and standards.
• Delivering detailed AutoCAD drawings of medium complexity, adhering to established drafting standards.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Piping and Design (or equivalent experience); Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma preferred.
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D); CAD / CADWorx administration knowledge is an asset.
• 4-7 years of experience in mechanical design projects, preferably in power generation.
• Ability to work independently on small projects with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and equipment requirements related to power generation.
