Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a skilled Pipeline Technician to support the Grizzly Pipeline Operations in Northern Alberta. Based in Fairview, Alberta, you will inspect, maintain and operate natural gas pipelines, valves and related equipment, performing isolation, purges and return-to-service activities while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You'll bring journeyman certification or two years post-secondary training and a strong safety record, with travel up to 70% and potential relocation.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in a trade or two years of post-secondary training.
• 2 years related work experience.
• Excellent safety record and a safe work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting and repair on pipeline equipment and components.
• Plan and lead pipeline isolation, blowdowns and gas handling activities.
• Conduct purging, loading and bleed-ins to pressurize pipelines and return to service.
• Operate and maintain natural gas pipelines and related equipment.
• Coordinate and monitor contractor and third-party activities on projects.
