Job summary

Arnett & Burgess Energy Services is seeking a Project Manager (Integrity Dig Programs) for our Blackfalds, AB office. You will lead a portfolio of pipeline integrity dig projects, managing cost, schedule, risk, and client satisfaction.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will partner with Superintendents and project teams, ensure accurate reporting, and drive commercial outcomes while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in pipeline and facility construction.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience leading and developing direct reports in project controls/coordination.
• Direct collaboration with Superintendents and field crews.
• Knowledge of pipeline/facility scopes across various disciplines.
• Experience with construction agreements, change orders, and subcontract administration.
• Fluency with project controls: budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, reporting.
• Experience supporting estimating and bid development.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of concurrent integrity dig projects across pursuit, initiation, execution, and closeout.
• Prepare, price, and track live estimates and bids with Superintendents on crew configuration and constructability.
• Serve as primary commercial contact for clients on scopes, change orders, reporting, and escalations.
• Lead Project Controllers and Administration staff on projects and ensure output accuracy.
• Own formal client-facing reporting and validate field data before reporting.
• Own change management and subcontract administration across portfolio.
• Own schedule and cost baseline, lead recovery planning and client conversations.
• Drive portfolio financial closeout including final billing and sign-off.
• Maintain zero-tolerance for safety, ensuring HSE requirements are built into projects.
