  • Perform equipment inspections and complete all documentation.
  • Comprehension and compliance with all safety procedures.

Job description

Roska DBO Inc. is looking for a Journeyman or Apprentice Pipefitter to join our busy Maintenance team. This is a full-time position for a motivated, safety-focused tradesperson who enjoys a mix of shop and field-based work.

This position requires you to be local to the Grande Prairie Area or willing to relocate. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic company that values integrity, continuous improvement, and strong team relationships.

Qualifications:
• Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract
• Registered Journeyman or Apprentice Pipefitter (any level)
• Oil & Gas maintenance experience is a strong asset
• Strong oral and written communication with proven problem-solving ability
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel when needed
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
• Read and understand process pipe drawings, fit pipe spools according to spool drawing
• Perform equipment inspections
• Complete all documentation and requirements
• Clamping and structural support of pipe systems
• Comprehension and compliance with all safety procedures

Competencies:
• Experience with flange management
• Hammer Union experience an asset
• Good knowledge of hand tools and threading equipment
• Ability to perform material take offs for piping systems
• Work well with others and at times with little or no supervision
• Ability to follow direction and maintain a high level of awareness and concentration
• Capable of working within a fast-paced environment
