A regional service provider is seeking a Pipefitter (Operations & Maintenance) to perform maintenance tasks at the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. The ideal candidate is a certified pipefitter with experience in industrial environments and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities include performing repairs to pipe systems, measuring and installing pipes, and directing helpers. Salary Range/ Wage Rate: $47.12 hourly plus 6.25% deferred compensation
This role receives an additional 6.25% deferred compensation on hours worked. The additional 6.25% can be taken as compensation or time off.
Our Liquid Waste Services Department is seeking a Pipefitter (Operations & Maintenance) who will safely and efficiently complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks at the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.
You are: a Certified Pipefitter committed to safety and continuously learning and improving in your trade. You enjoy working in a team environment including collaborating with Operations staff and other tradespeople. You have experience working in industrial environments, making repairs to pipe systems due to abrasive or corrosive wear, and modifying or improving piping systems.
