Responsibilities

  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes and fittings.
  • Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot errors.

Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Pipefitter to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a Full Time, Permanent maintenance position.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a permanent position starting July 8th on a 7 on/7 off schedule on day shift.

Responsibilities

  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Position Qualifications

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • Confined Space
