Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd is seeking experienced Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters for multiple projects across Eastern, and Northern Ontario, including Sudbury. You will contribute to our team by installing and maintaining pipe systems, with a focus on safety and efficiency in varying weather conditions.

Base wage is $44.13 per hour under the Collective Agreement. Schedules may vary (5/2, 10/4, or 14/7).

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Pipefitter trade ticket or be in an active apprenticeship.
  • Experience in municipal water/wastewater, live plant, and tie-ins.
  • Hoisting, rigging and hydrotesting experience.
  • Ability to wear a personal respirator when required.
  • Ability to work in a team or alone and take direction.
  • Safety conscious and follow company policies.
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Mine site experience preferred.
  • Experience operating construction equipment (e.g., telehandler) is an asset.
  • Strength to lift up to 50 pounds, from ground to overhead.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established work processes and directions on site.
  • Work as part of a team or independently to complete pipefitting tasks.
  • Operate equipment only if qualified and trained.
  • Maintain safety standards and adhere to Dalcon policies.
