Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd seeks experienced Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters for Sudbury, Ontario. The role offers a base wage of $44.13 per hour under the Collective Agreement, with varying schedules (5/2, 10/4, or 14/7) and travel allowances for eligible employees.

You will contribute to projects across Eastern and Northern Ontario, requiring a trade ticket or active apprenticeship, water/wastewater exposure, and rigging/hydrotesting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Pipefitter trade ticket or be actively pursuing an apprenticeship.
  • Municipal water/wastewater experience is preferred.
  • Experience with hoisting, rigging and hydrotesting is advantageous.
  • Ability to wear a personal respirator when required.
  • Strong communication and ability to work in teams or alone.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to site policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams as a Pipefitter on multiple Ontario sites.
  • Maintain safety standards and follow Dalcon's processes.
  • Work outdoors in varied weather conditions and on mine sites.
  • Operate or assist with construction equipment (e.g., telehandler) as needed.
  • Meet qualification and training requirements per job site conditions.
