Are you passionate about civil construction and eager to make a difference by working on underground pipe installation projects? Join Gulf Operators as a Pipe Labourer, where you’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on providing top-quality services in underground pipe installation and other general labor duties.


Responsibilities

  1. Install water, sanitary, and storm pipes – Perform underground services installation while adhering to best practices and safety standards.
  2. Material Handling – Load and unload materials at the beginning and end of each day to ensure efficient job site operation.
  3. Shoveling and Digging – Dig holes or drainage ditches and level earth to fine grade specifications using shovels, picks, and rakes.
  4. Guide Equipment Operators – Assist heavy equipment operators by providing direction around site and trenches to ensure safe and precise operations.
  5. Safety Compliance – Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. Participate in safety inspections to promptly address any corrective actions needed.

Qualifications

  1. Experience – 2-5 years of labor experience in civil construction, with a preference for candidates who have experience in underground infrastructure and pipe installation.
  2. Skills – A strong safety mindset, an ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment, and a commitment to teamwork.
  3. Physical Fitness – This role involves significant physical activity, including shoveling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials such as wheelbarrows and pipes.
  4. Language – Proficiency in English is required.
