Pilates Reformer Instructor

Overview

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is looking for knowledgeable and professional instructors to welcome new participants to our Pilates Reformer programs at our YMCA. You'll not only teach high-quality classes but build relationships and connect with class participants. Applicants should have exceptional teaching, communication, and listening skills.

Salary range: $26-42/hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Pilates Reformer classes while providing a safe, effective workout and accurate health and wellness information.
• Develop educational and enjoyable sessions for the participants.
• Must be outgoing, energetic, and have the physical ability to teach Pilates. Portray a professional image and provide positive feedback, motivation, and encouragement.
• Set an excellent example of health and wellness and member service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Instructor Certification in Pilates Reformer and National Group Exercise required.
• At least 1 year of experience teaching Pilates Reformer.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or obtain certification within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current certification thereafter.
• Weekends needed.
