Job summary

Resound School of Music Ltd. is seeking passionate piano instructors to provide in-home private lessons in West Vancouver, BC.

Teachers will travel to students’ homes, delivering 30–60 minute sessions and crafting personalized lesson plans tailored to each learner’s goals and interests. In addition to teaching, instructors will report progress to students and parents and help students prepare for performances, exams, auditions, and competitions.

Qualifications

• High level of musical competence and piano proficiency.
• Ability to teach piano across skill levels and styles.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach private piano lessons (30–60 minutes).
• Travel to students' homes to conduct lessons.
• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with each student’s goals.
• Communicate progress with students and parents regularly.

Resound School of Music is on the lookout for some amazing piano teachers for in-home piano lessons inWest Vancouver, BC. We are seeking passionate instructors with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with students of all ages and backgrounds!Piano teachers are responsible for teaching private piano lessons, ranging from 30 to 60 minutes each. As we are an at-home music school, teachers are responsible for commuting to their students' homes to teach their scheduled lessons. Teachers will develop individual lesson plans in relation to each of their students' goals and interests. Additionally, they are expected to communicate with their students and their parents about their progress, and help prepare students for performances, exams, auditions, and competitions.

• A high level of musical competence and proficiency on the piano
• Ability to teach piano to different skill levels and a variety of musical styles
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel to lessons
• No criminal history. Understand that if you are hired, you will be subject to an RCMP criminal record check
