Job summary

Resound School of Music in Burnaby, BC is seeking passionate piano teachers for in-home lessons. We value excellent communication and the ability to work with students of all ages.

Teachers will commute to students' homes, offering private lessons typically 30 to 60 minutes, and will develop personalized plans aligned with each student’s goals and interests.

You will regularly update students and their parents on progress and help prepare for performances, exams, auditions, and competitions.

Qualifications

• High level of musical competence and proficiency on the piano.
• Ability to teach piano to different skill levels and a variety of musical styles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel to lessons.
• No criminal history. RCMP criminal record check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach private piano lessons, ranging from 30 to 60 minutes each.
• Commute to students' homes to teach scheduled lessons.
• Develop individual lesson plans in relation to each student’s goals and interests.
• Communicate with students and their parents about progress.

Resound School of Music is on the lookout for some amazing piano teachers for in-home piano lessons in Burnaby, BC. We are seeking passionate instructors with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with students of all ages and backgrounds!Piano teachers are responsible for teaching private piano lessons, ranging from 30 to 60 minutes each. As we are an at-home music school, teachers are responsible for commuting to their students' homes to teach their scheduled lessons. Teachers will develop individual lesson plans in relation to each of their students' goal’s and interests. Additionally, they are expected to communicate with their students and their parents about their progress, and help prepare students for performances, exams, auditions, and competitions.
