Job summary

BrokerLink is seeking a professional to service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, and manage renewals with a customer-driven mindset. You will sell policies, quote new business, and collaborate with underwriters to ensure compliant, efficient processing.

The role emphasizes integrity, respect, and excellence within a flexible work environment across Canada, with incentive plans and retirement saving features included.

Responsibilities

• Service on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
• Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business
• Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receive walk-in clients
• Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
• Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
• Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
• Actively participate in training initiatives
• Participate in community marketing initiatives
• Process Account Receivable activities
• Provide guidance and assistance as requested

Salary range (but not limited to):

54,900 - 67,100

Incentive plan

Commissions & other performance incentives: Expected, but not limited payout potential of 10-15% of salary (subject to personal and team performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
