Qualifications

  • Registration with the provincial College of Physiotherapists is mandatory.

Job description

Location: Glover Physiotherapy
Start date: ASAP
Schedule: IC - 18 hours per week
Status: IC Part Time
Mandatory requirements: Registered Physiotherapist

Your Day-to-Day

  1. Assessing out-patient MSK injuries including, but not limited to, strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion
  2. Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning
  3. Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations
  4. Delegating treatment to Registered Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants
  5. Collaborating with the inter-professional team at your clinic
  6. Supervising Physiotherapy students (as preferred)
  7. Communicating with external stakeholders and client referral sources
  8. Managing caseload in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring to the Team:

  1. Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists
  2. 1-2 + years’ experience treating clients in an outpatient setting (strong asset)
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others
  4. Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
