Job summary

CBI Home Health in Surrey, British Columbia, is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to support clients at home and in the community. You will work with a physiotherapist or occupational therapist to help clients gain mobility and independence.

Ideal candidates have a post-secondary diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Rehabilitation Assistant or a related kinesiology degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Rehabilitation Assistant or Kinesiology degree (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs and assist clients in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to be safe and independent in home care settings under supervision of a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
• Assist with rehabilitative programs and clerical tasks related to patient charts.
• Coordinate with therapists to ensure smooth delivery of care and timely documentation.
