Job description

Rutland Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC), located in Kelowna, B.C., has an immediate permanent part-time (0.94 FTE) Physiotherapist opening. Days of work are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Shift times are 09:00-21:00 and 13:00-21:00.

Physiotherapists play a crucial part in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

About this location

Urgent and Primary Care Centres provide care for people without a Primary Care Provider, or who may not able to access their regular provider in a timely manner. The UPCC is staffed by a dynamic multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Social Work, MHSU clinicians and administrative support.
