Job summary

Ora/Restore is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic. You will assess clients, plan and execute individualized treatment programs to maintain or restore mobility and alleviate pain within a progressive setting.

Requirements include BC registration and 1+ year experience with athletic populations; training in intramuscular stimulation is available, with emphasis on manual therapy and movement rehabilitation. A sports background is an asset.

Qualifications

• Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
• 1 year+ experience with athletic/active populations preferred.
• Willingness to train in intra-muscular stimulation; focus on manual therapy and movement rehabilitation.
• Sports or training background is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' physical abilities through evaluative procedures and make a physiotherapy diagnosis.
• Establish treatment goals with patients based on diagnoses.
• Develop and implement physiotherapy treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, massage, education, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy and other modalities.
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans and modify accordingly.
• Provide advice on exercise and strategies to implement at home to enhance and/or maintain treatment.
• Communicate with referring physician and other health care professionals regarding clients' problems, needs and progress.
• Maintain clinical and statistical records and confer with other health care professionals.

Working in a modern, progressive multi-discipline clinic, our Physiotherapists assess clients and plan/execute individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning and mobility, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in clients.

Physiotherapist Position Details:

• Competitive 70%/30% split.

Physiotherapist Requirements:

• Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
• Knowledge and experience, 1 year + preferred, working with an athletic/active population, with a special interest in active rehabilitation.
• Able to train in intra-muscular stimulation, with a focus on manual therapy and movement rehabilitation.
• A sports and/or training background is an asset & will thrive in this clinical setting!
