Job description

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is one of the largest rehabilitation focused companies dedicated to providing therapy solutions for seniors. With over 30 years of experience, we are a preferred partner of more than 185 LTC homes, 55 retirement communities and provide over 180 senior dwellings with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and therapeutic group exercise programming. We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our growing team!

Location: Hamilton, ON
Schedule: 5 hours per week
Start date: Immediately
Status: Casual

We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more. Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.

In this role you will:

  • Perform clinical assessments and implement treatment plans for clients
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress
  • Administer and collect outcome measurement information
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Communicate to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
  • Engage in continuous learning and skills development
  • Have fun, and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Registered with the Provincial College of Physiotherapists
  • A graduate of a recognized university Physiotherapy degree program
  • 3 years of experience in LTC/Geriatrics is nice to have
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check (within 6 months)
  • Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance
  • ADP authorizer is mandatory
