Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Physiotherapist II to join the High Prairie Health Complex team. You will coordinate physiotherapy and allied health services, supervise students, and lead in clinical decision-making to support patient independence and quality care.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities for professional growth with eligibility for the Northern Living Allowance and other incentives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university.
• Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day physiotherapy and allied health services.
• Provide supervision of students and team members as assigned.
• Make day-to-day clinical decisions on assessment, intervention, discharge and follow-up.
• Provide clinical leadership within the program to ensure safe, efficient and evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues and community partners to support client independence.
