About this opportunity
If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals, supported by one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada. As a Physiotherapist Assistant at our Red Deer, Hospital Side clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.
Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
Acts as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
Assist Physiotherapists with busy caseloads
Ensures that gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
Maintains a presentable and organized clinic
Processing discharged patient charts and provider reports
Perform administrative duties as needed
What you need to be successful
PTA/OTA diploma considered an asset
Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong critical thinking
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Strong computer abilities
Ability to complete light administrative tasks as needed
Take and follow direction well with ability to work autonomously
