About this opportunity

If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals. As a Physiotherapist Assistant at our Fort McMurray clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. Dynamic, versatile and energized by a busy schedule, you welcome the opportunity to demonstrate your strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and your success in meeting timelines.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  1. Acts as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist.
  2. Assists Physiotherapists with busy caseloads.
  3. Ensures that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards.
  4. Maintains a presentable and organized clinic.
  5. Processes discharged patient charts and provider reports.
  6. Performs administrative duties as needed.

What you need to be successful

  • PTA/OTA diploma considered an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong critical thinking.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong computer abilities.
  • Ability to complete light administrative tasks as needed.
  • Take and follow direction well with ability to work autonomously.
  • Evening and weekend availability is mandatory.
