Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Physiotherapist to join the team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. Apply today to join our team!

Lions Gate Hospital (LGH) is one of the 4 busiest hospitals in Vancouver, and one of only five Neurosurgery centers in British Columbia. LGH is located in North Vancouver, known for hiking and skiing trails in the mountains.

As a Physiotherapist with VCH, you will:

  1. Provide physiotherapy services to help clients achieve and maintain health outcomes, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  2. Conduct assessments on clients' physical status, functional abilities, needs, and goals; establish diagnoses and prognosis; develop and implement intervention strategies; evaluate intervention effectiveness; communicate with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
  3. Contribute to organization and delivery of physiotherapy services, participate in quality assurance, meetings, research, and education.

Education & Experience:

  • Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
  • Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Broad knowledge of physiotherapy theory, practice, standards, and guidelines.
  • Understanding of other health disciplines and their roles.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice, standardized tests, research methods.
  • Ability to teach, empower clients, problem-solve, work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and use physiotherapy techniques and equipment.
