Position Overview

Responsible and accountable to the Manager of Professional Practice for the provision of patient care, coordination of service delivery, education, professional/program development, and quality assurance duties.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited university program in OT/PT.
• Minimum B.Sc OT/PT or equivalent required.
• License to practice with the College of Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Experience

• Recent experience with hands, plastics, and splinting preferred.
• Skilled in the management of hand injuries/conditions.
• Skilled in static and dynamic splinting/scar management.
• Postgraduate training in hands, plastics, static & dynamic splinting is a definite asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to participate/lead health service councils and task groups.
• Motivated to practice in accordance with the mission and vision of the hospital/health service.
• Good work and attendance record required.
