Job description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering consultative services to school-aged children from Kindergarten through Grade 12 across various schools. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students' physical development.
  • Providing training to school staff on effective strategies, equipment usage, and physical accommodations.
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and assisting with IEP development.

Services are delivered in accordance with the policies of The Centre for Child Development. Availability for occasional Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not essential.
  • Licensure with the College of PT of BC (or in process).
  • Valid BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Criminal Record Review acceptable to the Centre.
