Job description

Our Physiotherapy team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital has an immediate need for Casual Physiotherapists to work across various clinical practice areas, including acute care, outpatients, long-term care, and community rehab services.

About The Position

The Physiotherapist works both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and educating clients and caregivers to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes. The Physiotherapist also contributes to departmental and professional goals, participates in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education, and provides work direction to rehabilitation assistants.
