Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical abilities
• Supervise technical and support staff
• Plan physiotherapy programs
• Select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations
• Maintain clinical and progress reports
• Confer with other health professionals
• Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
• Administer evaluative tests and procedures
• Supervise patients' exercise routines
• Maintain, update, and manage health information databases
• Maintain accurate records
• Develop and implement treatment programs
• Conduct follow-up assessments
• Address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
• Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
• Review patient's case history and assess the nature of the problem to determine procedures and tests required
• Ensure compliance with the Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination requirements
