Role Overview

Are you a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a passionate professional to coordinate and manage our Premiere Healthcare Program and its processes, along with the relationship and performance management of Premiere clinic vendors nationwide. You will guide a clinical team that provides medical knowledge and expertise to support the claims department through education, coaching, and other knowledge transfer strategies.

This role offers a hybrid work model, combining the flexibility of remote work with in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee healthcare vendors, maintaining relationships with Healthcare Premiere clinics and developing connections with community healthcare providers to enhance the Aviva brand.
  2. Support customer recovery by ensuring evidence-based care is provided by community providers.
  3. Plan and manage the implementation of Healthcare Claims initiatives, ensuring compliance with HCS requirements and clinical best practices without disrupting operations.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance in customer-focused strategies, training, organizational change, and response to regulatory changes.
  5. Strengthen strategic relationships with Premiere clinics and align with HCS initiatives.
  6. Lead the development of the monthly vendor clinic dashboard, including scorecards and tracking processes.
  7. Leverage systems like HCAI BISS and Claims Center to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
  8. Contribute to strategic planning and future directions from a healthcare perspective.
  9. Foster a learning and development culture to support employee retention and technical skills.
  10. Participate in Claims management meetings and develop strategies to enhance claims handling, including anti-fraud measures.
Qualifications
  • University Degree
  • Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • 5-7 years’ clinical practice experience in various settings
  • At least 2 years’ supervisory or leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and relevant legislation
  • Understanding of disability management and evidence-based rehabilitation protocols
  • Experience leading multi-stakeholder projects and managing change
  • Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into operational processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships
  • Critical thinking and adaptability to cultural changes
