Compensation & Benefits Information

• Rate of pay ranges from $40.36 to $56.30, as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.

Job Summary

The Physiotherapist reports to the Manager, Allied Health. The Physiotherapist will assess patients, plan, and carry out individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning and mobility, as well as alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a B.Sc. P.T., M.Sc. P.T., or equivalent.
• Current license with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a group setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
• Will carry a challenging caseload of in-patients (medical/surgical, orthopaedic, neurological, long-term care) and out-patients (orthopaedic and musculoskeletal clients from infants to geriatrics).
• Willingness to travel between Kirkland Lake and Englehart sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
