Description

The Physician Relations Representative will be responsible for building and leveraging relationships with physicians through marketing initiatives and promoting the Company’s services to physicians, nurse practitioners, and health care providers across the GTA. The incumbent will follow up with physician inquiries in a timely manner with the goal of increasing health care provider referrals and engagement with WELL Health’s suite of businesses. The incumbent will assist and work closely with the physician relation and marketing team to promote and support various initiatives across the GTA.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with a targeted pipeline of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurse practitioners, through various communication channels.
  • Resolve physician concerns immediately and effectively.
  • Bridge the connection between the referring physician and our specialists.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to achieve optimal patient care.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of WELL Health’s offerings and value proposition.
  • Manage and build an effective pipeline of referring health care providers throughout the GTA.
  • Track activity and report results using Salesforce.
  • Interact and communicate collaboratively within the physician relations team and other leaders / staff.
  • Work closely with Clinic Leaders and other teams to manage and resolve issues.
  • Ensure patients are supported in preparation for their medical appointments.
  • Accurately answer customer questions regarding WELL Health’s services.
  • Collaborate with peers in other territories to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Achieve overall performance goals of the organization.
  • Support other lines of business as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of cold-calling experience.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce.com is an asset.
  • Track record of initiative-taking and creativity in tackling sales and marketing challenges.
  • Must have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel.
