BC Children's Hospital (BCCH) cares for the province's most acutely ill or injured children and youth, provides developmental and rehabilitation services, and offers a broad range of health services. Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children (SHHC) specializes in services for children and youth with developmental disabilities from birth to age 19, working collaboratively with BCCH to provide acute rehabilitation services. BCCH operates specialized health programs, is a leading acute care teaching facility, and conducts research through the BC Children's Hospital Research Institute in partnership with UBC.

The University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada's third-largest university, is a research-intensive institution with a significant economic impact.

We are offering an opportunity within the Division of Developmental Pediatrics at BCCH/Sunny Hill and UBC. The division has about 23 faculty members and operates within a program management model at SHHC. This role provides in-depth experience with children and families dealing with brain injury, rehabilitation needs, or complex neurodevelopmental conditions.

The role involves inpatient management during weekly blocks and daytime weekend coverage on a rotation basis. No additional call time is required.

The ideal candidate will have completed Pediatrics training at a Royal College-certified site and be eligible for licensure to practice pediatrics in BC. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
