Overview

This temporary full-time position (until approximately May 2026) involves providing clinical care to support postgraduate trainees in Urology. The role aims to reduce the outpatient clinic assessment load for trainees, enabling more focused learning and additional educational opportunities outside the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients in cystoscopy clinics and perform endoscopic and prostate procedures.
• Assess patients in outpatient urology clinics.
• Perform voiding trials for outpatient urology patients.
• Assess and treat patients in the Erectile Dysfunction clinic, including non-invasive therapies and intracavernosal injections.
• Assist in surgeries in the main operating room when postgraduate trainees are unavailable.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Certification or pending certification through the Physician Assistant Certification Council (PACC) or NCCPA.
• Membership with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants.
• Ability to work effectively in an interprofessional healthcare team.
