Physician Assistant Opportunity – Florida Panhandle/Coastal location!!

Medical Center seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Physician Assistant to join the team. Tri-County area's only open heart program.

Job Requirements:

1. The Cardiovascular Physicians Assistant will promote collaboration with physicians and personnel of other disciplines and departments while demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the complex cardiovascular patients served across the continuum.
2. A primary skill in endoscopic vein harvest is required. Candidates with experience in sternal closure considered a plus.
3. Other job duties include light office and call duties (with physician back up).
4. A cooperative and supportive team approach is essential.
5. The successful candidate will possess a degree from an accredited educational program for physician assistants, three to five years of current experience in area of specialization as a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant, and current ACLS, PALS, and BCLS for Healthcare Professionals.
6. The candidate must either possess or be able to obtain a license to practice as Physician Assistant in the State of Florida and be eligible for credentialing through the Medical Center.
