The Physician Assistant (PA), Emergency, performs a variety of clinical duties within the scope defined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Clinical care by the PA occurs in select facilities under the supervision of a PA Emergency Program Physician Supervisor. The PA reports to a Site Administrative Manager but is accountable to the Physician Supervisor for quality of care and professional development. The PA works collaboratively with ED physicians, residents, nursing, and allied health professionals to provide team-based care.
Starting salary ranges from approximately $88,990 to $111,237, based on education, training, experience, and comparable positions.
The Physician Assistant, Emergency, reports to the Physician Supervisor for clinical matters and administratively to the Manager, Clinical Operations or delegated leader.
