Type: Option to be Regular Full-Time (35 hours/week) OR Regular Part-Time (10.5 to 25 hours/week)
Pay Scale: $58.176/hr to $68.45/hr

The West Ottawa Homeless and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub (WOHH) is a new collaborative initiative being driven by seven core partners and led by PQCHC, with support from more than 20 organizations across the region. The HART Hub will provide safe, low-barrier and judgement-free access to a full continuum of services for people in need of support with their substance use health. This continuum will include primary care, addiction medicine, withdrawal and treatment services as well as housing support, peer connection, and access to social services. The West Ottawa HART Hub will operate out of two locations- a main location housing a walk-in clinic and withdrawal management and a secondary location housing the bed-based stabilization and treatment services.
The Physician Assistant (PA) is an integral member of the West Ottawa HART Hub clinical program, and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, will provide a wide range of services under the supervision of licensed physicians including comprehensive triage, medical assessment, diagnosis, crisis support and treatment to patients with varied health, social, cultural, and economic barriers. The focus will be in the provision of primary care, mental health, infectious disease treatment, substance use management and harm reduction.
With the team, the PA will work within a trauma-informed, harm reduction, culturally safe and patient-centered framework.
