Physician Assistant Job in Central California

Location: Central California

Description: Physician Assistant opportunity in Central California. You will be responsible for diagnostic examinations, tests, and procedures to include ordering laboratory tests and radiological examinations. The PA provides treatment for medical conditions, procedures, consultations, and prescribes approved medications. They prepare consultations for specialty care and record patient education on the appropriate forms.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA).
  2. Must have and maintain current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  3. Must have worked as a Physician Assistant for 24 months within the past 36 months.
  4. Must have and maintain certification in basic life support (BLS).
